I hate working on group projects with a passion. It is not always the people that I am in the group with, but mainly it is the fact that I like working alone 90% better and will prefer it the majority of the time. Many of times teachers put us in group assignments to collaborate on ideas that involve being creative or giving a formal presentation and it is just a battle of the ideas from that point on. I am the type to try and avoid confrontation but with group work normally comes some minor issues. There is also those cases when group members dont want to do their share of work. There is just so much that can go wrong. I can count the number of successful groups on my hand.
I HATE WORKING IN GROUPS TOO, MY MOM ATTENDS UNIVERSITY OF PHENOX AND SHE DEALS WITH THE SAME ISSUE. I KNOW ALOT OF PEOPLE THAT SAY WORKING IN GROUPS BROADEN YOUR HORIZONS AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS, BUTMOST OF THE PEOPLE I AM WITH ARE ALWAYS MOOCHERS(MEANING TAKING CREDIT FOR WORK THEY DIDNT DO).
ReplyDelete^-All caps. lol I know what you mean man. Sometimes it is hard to come together on things when everyone has a different mindset on how things should go. I prefer to work alone too because, like I said, I know my own mind.
ReplyDeleteIt also sucks that your grade does not only count on you but on your team members. I am a lone wolf when it comes to school work, I feel like if I fail then I want it to be solely based on my work alone.
